Fogo Chain, a new Layer-1 blockchain, has finalized its airdrop snapshot and is poised for its mainnet launch on January 13, 2026. The project, designed by ex-JPMorgan banker Robert Sagurton, targets high-speed transactions and aims to capitalize on a projected $16 trillion tokenization market by 2030.

The team confirmed the completion of its "Flames" program and will distribute free tokens to eligible testnet participants. With $15 million in funding from Echodotxyz, Fogo Chain enters a competitive landscape with ambitions to become a leading infrastructure provider for tokenized assets.
